Meet the Molloy Admissions Team

    Dr. Stephen Ostendorff
    Dean of Admissions
Territory | As the Dean of Admissions I work with all students and families looking to go to Molloy. Whether you are brand new to the college search, looking to transfer from another institution, pursuing graduate-level work, or looking to go back to school after being away from the classroom for a bit, I am here to help. I look forward to meeting you!

What is your favorite place to eat around campus
? | Rockville Centre has a little bit of everything! From amazing coffee shops and restaurants to places to shop or have fun. There is always something to do, and personally, I love to grab some sushi every time I get into town.

Professional Background | I grew up on Long Island and live here with my family. I have a deep connection to Molloy as a number of my family members went to school here, and my great aunt taught math here for many years. It's like a second home.

What do you enjoy about Molloy? | Molloy University has and will always hold a place in my heart as one of the best schools in the world. Being able to work here has allowed me to work with some of the smartest and hardest working students I have ever met, and also allowed me to truly believe in the mission behind my school and work environment. I get the awesome opportunity to also work back at my own Alma Mater as I was a student at Molloy before starting my role as Admissions Counselor here!

Professional Background | A bit about me, I am a former Molloy University alumnus who graduated with two bachelor's degrees in marketing and economics. I was heavily involved on campus through Student Government, the Performing Arts Club, Captain of the Men's Rugby Team for multiple seasons, a Student Ambassador, and so much more! I am a very active and adventurous person who loves meeting new people and learning about different people's own adventures!

Gino's on Long Beach Road! Their sautéed broccoli rabe is my favorite... and they deliver, too!
