    The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders provides students with an understanding of human communication and disorders of communication and prepares our graduates to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, ethical practice and impactful scholarship in order to take positions of leadership within the professional and academic communities.

    Why pursue a Ph.D. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders?

    The PhD program in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Molloy University prepares academic and clinical leaders to advance the field of CSD through scholarship of research and teaching. Our program caters to diverse backgrounds and disciplines with an emphasis on understanding theoretical and clinical bases of CSD. Faculty research expertise vary widely from understanding communication in infants to swallowing in geriatrics across a wide variety of cultures, languages, processes and disorders.
